How You Can Help

For 57 years and counting, the organization known as Autism Society of America, and its nationwide network of affiliates, has been connecting people in the Autism & Disability communities to the resources they need. With such a rich tradition across the country, Autism Society of Greater Detroit, is thrilled to be the connection as the state affiliate in Michigan.

Our goal is to provide support to the Autism community in any way we are able; we do this through education, advocacy, information and referrals, and community programs. We currently serve the Greater Detroit area but with the backing of our National Organization the 5-year plan is to provide services and support throughout all of Michigan. Support from organizations and individuals across the state through donations and volunteering are what help make this goal a reality.

The Autism Society of Greater Detroit is included as an affiliate member within the Autism Society 501©3 tax-exempt designation, Federal Tax ID number 51-0249523. Inclusion in part, effectually permits the Autism Society of Greater Detroit to maintain a Non Profit Tax Exempt Status.

The Autism Society of Greater Detroit does not solicit funds through telemarketing. This ensures all donation are used directly to fulfill our mission of Improving the Lives of All Affected by Autism.

In Lieu of Gifts

For the birthday girl who has everything, the wedding couple who requested no gifts, or in remembrance of loved ones who have passed away. A donation to the the Autism Society of Greater Detroit can be made in their honor.

Starting at $25, these special donations will be honored by being listed on our website for a year.
